A Holden woman arrested in a child abuse case involving an 11-year-old girl is charged with two additional counts.
Livingston Parish deputies said 32-year-old Lisa Faber didn't just know about the shackling of the child to a desk but was involved in it. Faber was arrested Tuesday night, along with the child's father, 33-year-old Donald E. Miller III.
Faber was booked Thursday with cruelty to a juvenile and false imprisonment. Miller was booked with second degree battery on a juvenile, cruelty to a juvenile, false imprisonment and aggravated battery of a juvenile.
Deputies said the child's leg had been shackled to a desk for what the father said were disciplinary issues.
