BATON ROUGE- DOTD is reporting several road closures in the Baton Rouge area Friday morning:

Icy conditions and wrecks led to multiple closures on all major interstates and bridges. State Police urged drivers to stay off the roads except for emergency trips.

Drivers can get current road conditions by calling 511, or 1-888-ROAD-511 (1-888-762-3511) if they are out-of-state travellers. You can also follow @WBRZ on Twitter, or check DOTD's Interactive Traffic Map.
