SHREVEPORT - The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for Shreveport and Bossier City until noon Tuesday.

National Weather Service Meteorologist Aaron Stevens says there is a chance of freezing rain and light sleet.

As a precaution, state officials have closed Interstate 49 in Shreveport from Bert Kouns Industrial Loop to Interstate 20.
