Wife of suspect in Baker murder also arrested
BAKER - Police arrested the wife of a man accused of a murder in Baker as an accessory to the crime today.
Investigators said Miesha Scott surrendered to Baker Police earlier today. She's married to Kyren Eby, who faces second-degree murder charges in the death of Garland Ruffin.
Police said Eby and Ruffin had an argument Thursday outside an apartment complex in the Heritage Court subdivision before the shooting, and that Eby fled the scene afterward with Scott.
Both were booked into the parish jail.
