Who voted for and against the voucher and tenure reforms?
BATON ROUGE - The state House approved amendments to both of Gov. Bobby Jindal's education reform measures Thursday, sending sweeping changes to the state's school system to his desk for signature.
The House passed a measure to create a statewide voucher program by a 60-42 vote. A second measure that overhauled teacher pay and job protections passed earlier by a similar vote, 60-43.
A signature from the Governor is all that's required for the bills to become law.
