BATON ROUGE- Les Miles makes the most of any football coach in the state, and he is far ahead of his colleague at the other public university in the city.

USA Today released a list of what coaches make and Miles is ranked as the 7th highest paid.

Miles makes a reported $4.4 million with a maximum bonus of $700,000. At Southern, Roman Banks earns $115,000.

UL Lafayette's head coach, Mark Hudspeth, reportedly takes home about $803,000 with a possible bonus of $105,000.
