A judge in France says the car company Renault can name its new car Zoe even though the parents of two girls named Zoe Renault sued to stop it. The lawyer for the parents says, "First names are for humans", and says they shouldn't be co-opted by multinational companies to sell products. The judge says the parents would have a case only if they could show that naming the car Zoe would cause "certain, direct and current harm" to the children.
