Wet weather situation lingers until Saturday morning
BATON ROUGE- A flash flood watch will continue through Saturday morning after a storm system moved across the region Friday, dumping inches of rain on the area.
Chief forecaster Pat Shingleton said it's a safe estimate that most places received two inches of rain.
The rain system should be gone by daybreak. The flood alert continues until 9 a.m. Saturday.
