Wet weather at PGA
PITTSFORD, N.Y. - A steady stream of rain has been falling during the second round at the PGA Championship in suburban Rochester, N.Y.
The showers are expected to extend through the morning with a slight chance of thundershower. The rain could make the Oak Hill Country Club course attackable, as it was yesterday.
Overnight co-leader Adam Scott is now alone atop the leaderboard with a pair of birdies through five holes. That leaves him at 7-under par.
Lee Westwood had his string of 25 straight bogey-free holes broken with one on his eighth hole of the day, the 17th. That came after he scored a pair of birdies. Westwood is 5-under and tied with Jim Furyk, who tees off this afternoon.
Jason Day is 4-under par through nine holes.
Phil Mickelson has one birdie in six holes at is even par, seven shots off the lead.
