Well-known cycling pastor Rev. Fealing dies at 87
BATON ROUGE - Rev. Herbert Fealing, 87, died Tuesday according to family members.
Fealing had been an associate minister at Second Baptist Church on North Acadian Thruway West for more than 20 years and had been competing in Louisiana Senior Olympics for nearly as long. His family said he had won well over a dozen medals in bicycling and other events. He was well known for biking all around Baton Rouge.
Fealing's visitation will be held next Friday from 5 to 7 p.m. at Desselle Funeral Home and his funeral will be the following day at Second Baptist Church at 10 am.
He is survived by Carrie Fealing, his wife of seven years, along with four sons, a stepdaughter and two grandchildren
