Weekend construction may cause traffic & delays
BATON ROUGE - According to traffic officials, the westbound lanes of LA 427 at Old Perkins Road near Bayou Manchac will be closed until 6 p.m. on Saturday.
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and development says the closure is due to a drainage installation.
Officials say only one lane is open for traffic. Drivers should expect delays and be prepared to stop.
