Website: Baton Rouge among country's "most dangerous"
BATON ROUGE- Despite a reported drop in crime, a reality website ranks the city as one of the most dangerous in the United States.
The site compiled 100 where there are 25,000 or more people and based the results on the number of violent crimes per 1,000 residents. Violent crimes include murder, forcible rape, armed robbery, and aggravated assault.
Baton Rouge was ranked 65th with Monroe as 92nd and Alexandria 16th as the most dangerous places to live.

The most dangerous city, according to the list, is East St. Louis, IL.
