Weather knocks over big rigs on I-10
BEAUX BRIDGE - Louisiana State Police said two big rigs blocked part of I-10 West after a wreck tipped them over Friday afternoon.
LSP Troop I reported the wreck was weather-related, and happened on I-10 West near mile marker 108 just east of Lafayette.
Traffic was piling up behind the wreck, and troopers said one lane was allowing vehicles to pass at this time.
Strong weather moved through southeast Louisiana Friday evening, leading to a tornado watch for the entire area. Some authorities also reported hail and strong winds as part of the storm system.
