BUDAPEST, Hungary - Hungarian security officials say they have confiscated nearly 100 live weapons, including machine guns, rifles and pistols, which local media reported were to be used in Brad Pitt's "World War Z" film.

Janos Hajdu, head of Hungary's Counterterrorism Center, said Tuesday the weapons arrived from London to Budapest's Ferenc Liszt Airport on Saturday and were discovered at a nearby duty free zone.

He says he cannot directly confirm they were meant for the film.

Hajdu says the weapons had not been properly deactivated and could easily be used to fire live ammunition.

Adam Goodman, whose company is providing production services, declined to comment on links between the seized weapons and the film. He says, "we are preparing as planned. We are not changing our schedule."
