WBR deputies investigating trailer theft

A retired couple from Tennessee says someone broke into their RV early this morning while they slept in the back of the camper.

The West Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff's Office is investigating. The crime happened at a campground off Highway 76 near Port Allen.

The couple claims someone climb in a window near the driver's seat of the camper. The victims woke up when a vase was knocked off a counter. The suspects got away with cash.

Other items they stole were dropped outside.
