LIVINGSTON - Parish leaders announced today waterways in Livingston and Ascension parishes closed for Hurricane Isaac will reopen tomorrow.
Livingston Parish President Layton Ricks said river levels had lowered enough that it was safe to let boats back on the water.
"Please remember to watch your wakes where there is still high water and be careful on our waterways," Ricks said today.
Lester Kenyon with the Ascension Parish President's office said they were also reopening waterways Tuesday, starting at 6 a.m.
