Garbage and waste collections will resume for residents of East Baton Rouge and Iberville Parish on Tuesday.

For EBR, only solid waste garbage routes will be collected on Tuesday and on a limited basis and bulky household debris will not be collected yet. Also, recycling collection is suspended for Tuesday and the North Landfill is open for all residents.

Progressive Waste garbage collection for Iberville Parish will also resume Tuesday. According to Iberville officials, garbage pickup will be one day after residents' usually scheduled pick up day.

Waste Management for the City of Zachary will resume Wednesday. Waste Management expects to run regularly scheduled residential and commercial routes. However, some streets and other areas may not be safe for operations due to residual rain and flooding effects. Waste management will not collect flood debris.

Zachary officials will notify residents of the schedule to pick up flood debris through The City of Zachary Facebook page and www.cityofzachary.com.
