Warrant issued for rape suspect
BATON ROUGE - Police issued an arrest warrant Tuesday for a man who they said raped a woman in Baton Rouge.
Cpl. L'Jean McKneely said police had a warrant for Tyrone Isaac, 20, of Terrance Street.
Investigators said Isaac physically abused and sexually assaulted a 21-year-old woman on March 15 at an unknown location on Provost Street. Detectives said Isaac was considered dangerous and people should use extreme caution if they see him.
McKneely said Isaac was wanted for simple battery, false imprisonment, simple kidnapping and forcible rape. Anyone with information on his whereabouts should contact the BRPD Sex Crime Division at (225) 389-2000.
