Warming trend continues
High pressure roughly centered over the Georgia/South Carolina line is allowing our winds to remain southerly. Look for the highs to eclipse the 60° mark and even our average high for this time of the year during the afternoon hours. Skies will be partly to mostly sunny as some cooler air aloft may allow some of that incoming warmer surface air to rise and create clouds. With the flow continuing tomorrow, our highs should go above 70° for the first time in over 10 days. Sunday will still be warm and above average, but clouds and rain should prevent us from reaching the 70s.
