Expect abundant sunshine with a notable warm-up into the 50s-some 15-20° warmer than the last two days. Tonight will once again be chilly, but do not expect us to crack the freezing mark. Forecast lows are in the middle 30s. On Friday, the shift in pattern continues with slightly below average highs going above average. Morning sunshine will warm Southeastern Louisiana into the upper 60s. The approach of a weak cold front will allow some afternoon cloud development and a spotty sprinkle, especially in northern and eastern locations. By all means, Valentine's Day dinner plans should not be interrupted and most locations should stay dry. Saturday will be a touch cooler than Friday on the other side of the front with sun returning. Sunday, expect partly sunny skies and highs to eclipse 70°!
