A comfortable afternoon is on tap as an area of high pressure remains over the Southeast U.S. We will be mostly sunny to partly cloudy around the Baton Rouge area. There is a slight chance of a shower along the Coastal Parishes thanks to a weak trough sitting over the Western Gulf of Mexico. It is going to be a little warmer with high temperatures in the mid 80s.
Expect mostly clear skies with temperatures falling into the 70s this evening.
More pleasant weather is on tap tonight with mostly clear skies, but it will not be as cool. Low temperatures will be in the mid 60s.
