It is a pleasant start to the day with mostly clear skies and it is not as chilly. Temperatures are in the 50s across the Baton Rouge area. You may not want that jacket this morning, but I would put the umbrella in the car today.
Winds will be coming out of the southeast today thanks to an area of high pressure off the East Coast. This will pump in moisture from the Gulf of Mexico, and we will have a more humid afternoon with a mix of sun and clouds. Some spotty showers will also be possible. High temperatures will be around 80.
The clouds will stick around tonight making it mostly cloudy and a few stray showers will be possible. It will be warmer and muggy with lows in the lower 60s.
