We begin this Friday Morning with clear skies and some chilly temperatures in the upper 30s. You will probably want to take your jacket with you this morning, but you won't need it later today.
The area of high pressure that has been sitting over us the last few days has moved off to the east of Louisiana. This has shifted the winds from the northeast to the southeast and this will warm us back up. We will start a warming trend today that will last all weekend. There is also a short-wave, or disturbance, that will move over us from Texas this afternoon. It will bring in some high clouds and that will give us a mix of sun and clouds. High temperatures will be in the lower 70s.
It will not be as cold tonight, but we will still have a little chill in the air with partly to mostly cloudy skies. Low temperatures will fall to the upper 40s.
