In between systems, another day of fair weather is ahead before the storm threat returns tonight and tomorrow.
Your Thursday will end up dry with mostly sunny skies lending space to some increasing clouds late. Highs will likely eclipse the 90° plateau. Tonight will find increasing cloud coverage and developing showers and thunderstorms. Some of the storms could be capable of creating strong winds and heavy downpours. Lows will bottom out in the lower 70s.
Friday is the most likely day of the next 7 to contain area wide precipitation as you prepare for the weekend. Scattered thunderstorms along an approaching weak cold front will offer up measurable rainfall just about everywhere during the afternoon and evening hours. Some of the storms could be strong or severe with damaging wind gusts and heavy rain.
