Walmart ending health benefits for some part-timers
BENTONVILLE, ARKANSAS- Walmart cut health insurance for some of its part-time employees.
It posted on a blog that workers with fewer than 30-hours a week will no longer qualify for its health insurance plan. The world's largest retailer says the change will affect about 1.3 million workers, about two percent of its work force.
Walmart is about to get in on the heath care business by opening urgent care clinics in some of its stores.
