BATON ROUGE - Volunteers and city-parish officials along with Entergy gathered in East Baton Rouge today to make more than a dozen homes more energy-efficient.
Volunteers organized out of Istrouma High School fanned out into the nearby neighborhood this morning to make improvements at 16 different homes in the area.
The work focused on weatherizing homes to cut down on people's energy bills. Volunteers caulked windows, installed weather stripping and made other energy-efficient improvements.
Adrian Pittman will have more on the work and how much it could save people in that neighborhood tonight on News 2 at 5.
