BATON ROUGE - They're toys that bring back memories of childhood, and this year they're flying off of local shelves.

Legos, Lincoln Logs and Easy Bake Ovens are only a few of the vintage toys shoppers are picking up this Christmas.

"People really appreciate being able to give their children the same things they had when they were young, it allows them to relive their memories," said Gaby Town, with Victoria's Toy Station.

They're memories filled with spinning tops, blond-haired beauties and lots of colorful marbles. It's the toys people grew up playing with that they're searching out for their own children this Christmas.

"Every thing's coming back now,Transformers are big now, Legos never go out of style," said shopper Nathan Tallo.

To buy some of the toys featured on News 2 at 5 p.m. visit Victoria's Toy Station on Government Street in Baton Rouge.
