Vigil to be held tonight to remember 7-year-old killed in shooting
BATON ROUGE - There's a special and candlelight vigil to remember 7-year-old old, Terrez Coleman.
Coleman was killed in a drive-by shooting on Prescott in mid-August. Deputies have still not been able to locate a suspect in the shooting.
According to investigators, the family of five was in their vehicle when another vehicle passed by and shot at them.
Three kids were in the back seat and bullets hit two of them. Coleman died at the hospital and his older sister was also shot. She recovered from her injury.
The vigil will be held Tuesday night at Beacon Light Baptist Church located at 7513 Prescott Road.
Services begin at 7:00 p.m.
The East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Office will be in attendance.
