NEW ROADS - Friends share memories out loud and on paper to save forever, painting a different picture from the gruesome images conjured by the news of 17 year old Tesa Middlebrook hanging herself from the school stadium, using an extension cored. It was the only goodbye many of Tesa's center for the arts classmates will get.
Tesa's art work was on display at the center for the arts in New Roads.
At Tuesday night's vigil, family and friends shared their favorite memories of Tesa, but also talked about the torment she endured at school.
They vowed to continue to share Tesa light and message "... To be kind, even to the people who hurt you."
