LAPLACE - State Troopers identified the five victims from an overnight crash Friday, involving a car going the wrong way on I-10 west of LA 3188 in St. John Parish.
Lawayne Rice of Zachary, Terrell Sims of Slaughter, and Louis Brown and Dondray London of Baton Rouge, were killed when a vehicle traveling the wrong way on the interstate hit them.

Troopers say shortly before 3 a.m. a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee was headed east in the westbound lane when it hit an oncoming 2010 Ford Focus driven by Rice.
Shortly after the initial crash, the Jeep was also hit by a westbound 18-wheeler, driven by Ryan Firman of Cottonport, and a 1998 Saturn sedan, driven by Reginald Nutter of Baton Rouge.
Firman and Nutter received minor injuries.
