BATON ROUGE - One person is in custody after two people were found dead in Baton Rouge Monday.

East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff's deputies identified the victims as 28 year old Jarret Stanley, and 26 year old Latonya Wright.

The two were found in the trunk of a car in the 6400 block of Dutton St. on Monday.  Deputies said they had been shot.

Investigators have not released the name of the person in custody.

Stanley and Wright had been sought by Baton Rouge Police after another shooting back in November.  Investigators said Stanely had been shot during an attempted robbery or burglary at the residence he and Wright had been living at. Officers later found bags of marijuana and a stolen gun at the residence, and said Stanley was released from the hospital before he could be arrested.
