Victim robbed after car flashes headlights

KENTWOOD- Deputies arrested a man for a heist where the victim was tricked into being held at gunpoint.

Investigators said Eric Selders stole $80.00 from the person after the scheme. Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's deputies said the victim was driving on Highway 10 between Wilmer and Arcola when another vehicle's headlights flashed and signaled for them to stop.

"After stopping, the victim opened his door and was immediately met by [Selders]," a department spokesperson said.

Selders faces robbery and possession of a firearm by a felon charges.
