Victim identified in Big Bend shooting
BATON ROUGE - An investigation is underway after a young man was found shot to death Wednesday night.
The victim, identified as 20-year-old Rayjuan Martin, was found on the sidewalk in the 10000 block of Big Bend Ave., off North Sherwood Forest.
Police say Martin was trying to turn around in a driveway another vehicle blocked him in. Two men approached him and his passenger and attempted to rob them at gunpoint.
The passenger managed to escape before Martin was fatally shot multiple times.
Investigators say the suspects, described as two black males, fled the scene in a light colored vehicle.
