It is a warm and muggy start to the day with mostly cloudy skies. Temperatures are already in the upper 60s.
We will remain warm and humid this afternoon with plenty of clouds sticking around. A few showers will also be possible as they move north from the coast. High temperatures will be in the lower 80s.
A cold front will move into North Louisiana tonight, and it will send some showers and thunderstorms into Baton Rouge by daybreak on Friday. Otherwise, we will be cloudy and muggy with lows in the mid 60s.
