Vehicle hits restaurant, breaks gas line
BATON ROUGE - A vehicle ran into a restaurant in the Gardere area this afternoon, breaking a gas line inside according to authorities.
It happened in the 9400 block of Burbank Drive around 3:45 p.m. Authorities closed the eastbound lanes of Burbank as a result, and told drivers to avoid the area.
The driver had minor injuries according to State Police.
The road was re-opened after utility crews stopped the gas leak around 4:35 p.m.
