BATON ROUGE - Traffic is moving again on I-10 westbound at the Atchafalaya Basin Bridge after a vehicle fire shut it down this afternoon.

A camper caught fire at mile marker 126 near the Whiskey Bay exit around 3:15 p.m. according to Louisiana State Police, shutting down the interstate.
Authorities later opened one lane of traffic. At that point the congestion had reached past the Ramah exit and was nine miles long, according to DOTD.
The roadway was opened back up at 5 p.m. There was no information about any injuries from this fire.
