USC cuts ties to Bush and will return Heisman

Despite Reggie Bush's former legendary status at USC, the Trojans' athletic department will cut ties with their former running back and return his Heisman hardware.

USC president-elect Max Nikias annoucned in a letter Tuesday that they will return Bush's Hesisman trophy and remove all jerseys and murals that recognize Reggie Bush as a player at USC.

During his three years at Southern Cal, Bush compiled over 3,000 rushing yards, won the 2005 Heisman trophy, and helped lead the Trojans to a BCS national championship in 2004.
