US 190 back open after deadly wreck
PORT ALLEN - Authorities reopened a stretch of US 190 in Port Allen which was closed Thursday after a deadly wreck.
According to State Police, the crash happened just west of the Mississippi River Bridge when a car ran into an 18-wheeler. Troopers said the car's driver died in the wreck.
Traffic was diverted at LA 415 while troopers investigated the crash. The victim's identity was not released.
