WBRZ - Baton Rouge

BATON ROUGE - An overnight crash on Airline Hwy near the East Baton Rouge and Ascension Parish line left two injured. Troopers say a driver was traveling southbound in the northbound lane.

Robert Teasley has been charged with vehicular negligent injuring, wreckless operation and 2nd offense DWI.

Troopers say Teasley hit the another vehicle head-on. Both drivers had to be pulled from the vehicles by emergency responders.

Both drivers suffered moderate injuries and were taken to the hospital.

Teasley was issued a summons, he will be booked at a later date.
