Update: Wildlife and Fisheries agents say the St. John's Parish Sheriff's search crews have recovered the body of one of the missing boaters. Agents will not release the name of the person found until family is notified. Crews are combing the waters where the body was found in hopes of finding the other boaters.

The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries has released the names of the three missing boaters from yesterday's accident in Lake Maurepas. Ryan Ducote, 24, Anna Hite, 20, and Mikayla Thibodeaux, 14, all of Gonzalez are still missing. Agents with the department have resumed their search for the boaters at 7 a.m. this morning, but tell News 2 the search has switched from a rescue to a recovery mission.

Trey White, 24, was injured in the accident. White apparently was in the water when the propeller of the boat struck his arm. He was taken to St. Elizabeth Hospital. Both White and Blake Caronna, 26, were rescued by another boater, Caronna was not injured.

According to Wildlife and Fisheries Agents, the five people were swimming in Lake Maurepas near the Blind River, when the throttle of the boat, which was left empty and idling, was jolted. That's when the boat began circling out of control hitting four of the five people in the water. The boat circled for about 40 minutes before running out of gas.

At least 13 boats and two helicopters from several different agencies were involved in the search.
