Update: Livingston Parish Council mtg. underway

UPDATE: The council voted 8-1 in favor of fixing Eden Church Rd.

A motion was made by a member of the Livingston Parish Council to hold a vote tonight to fix the "s" curve and repave Eden Church road.
The full council will vote on the issue shortly. I will update this story when the vote happens.
Federal money will pay for the majority of it - $1.5 million worth of it. Livingston Parish would need to put up around $350,000.
If the council turns this issue down tonight, the parish will not get the federal money to fix the road.
