UPDATE: Identity released of man killed, dumped in canal
BATON ROUGE - Baton Rouge Police are investigating a murder after the body of a 38-year-old man was found shot to death early Tuesday morning.
The body of Alexander Scott was found by neighborhood residents around 7:30am in a canal behind houses in the 4300 block of Jefferson Ave.
Police said they are still working on gathering more details surrounding the case, and do not have a suspect or motive at this point.
