Update: All lanes open, still congested
BATON ROUGE - Two separate accidents are causing delays on I-10.
The first one is due to a vehicle fire that happened Sunday morning.
All lanes have reopened on I-10, however the interstate is still backed up in both directions due to a vehicle fire near Perkins Road on Sunday morning.
Traffic has reached Essen Lane on I-10 westbound. There is also congestion on I-10 eastbound from two miles west of LA-415 (Lobdell Highway) to the I-10/1-110 split.
This is the second vehicle fire in two days on I-10 in the Baton Rouge area.
Congestion from the second incident in Breaux Bridge has cleared.
Earlier today, officials say they were recovering a tractor-trailer from the median, causing all but one lane to close.
All lanes are open, but traffic is backed up to the I-10/I-49 merge.
