SORRENTO, La. - A 16-year-old died in a single-vehicle crash around noon Saturday on I-10 westbound in Ascension Parish, according to Louisiana State Police.

State Troopers say Gary Clark, Jr. was a passenger in a 2006 Cadillac CTS westbound on I-10 when the car ran off the roadway and struck several trees in the median. Clark, Jr. was not wearing a seatbelt and died as a result of his injuries in the crash.

The driver of the vehicle was another 16-year old that did not have a driver's license.

The crash remains under investigation.
