Prairieville- A 21 year old man believed to be impaired and not wearing a seatbelt was killed in a crash this evening, becoming the third victim during a deadly day on the roads in the Capital City area.
State Police say Brady Delaune was driving on north on Hwy. 44 when he lost control of his pick-up truck and hit a car going the other way.
He died at the scene.
A woman and two year old child in the other vehicle suffered only minor injuries.
During the afternoon rush, a man was killed in Watson when he lost control of his vehicle and hit an 18-wheeler, while a 38 year old woman was killed when she veered into the opposite lane of traffic and slammed into a school bus this morning in New Roads.
