Un-masked man arrested, others wanted in home invasion
GONZALES - Sheriff's deputies said a 21-year-old turn himself in on charges related to a home invasion where all the accused criminals were wearing masks but him.
Kaleb Boudreaux was booked into jail in Ascension Parish late Tuesday. A spokesperson said no bond had been set as of this post.
Investigators said Boudreaux and three other men broke into a home on Tom Dyer Road just after midnight Monday. The deputies said the four men had guns and stole several items while other occupants of the house were at home.
Witnesses told deputies while the three other men had masks over their faces, Boudreaux did not, which is how they were able to recognize him.
In a news release earlier in the day, deputies said Boudreaux would be charged with home invasion, six counts of armed robbery, six counts of theft, six counts of aggravated assault with a firearm, two counts of theft of a firearm, and aggravated burglary.
The three other men face similar charges.
Anyone with information about this case should call the Ascension Parish Sheriff's Office at (225) 621-INFO (4636) or text an anonymous tip to 847411.
