ULL hits Southern baseball hard, wins 14-1 over Jags
BATON ROUGE - Stefan Trosclair started Louisiana Lafayette off with a home run in the first inning on the way to a 14 run performance from the Ragin' Cajuns as they beat Southern 14-1 Wednesday night at Lee Hines Field.
The Cajuns scored runs in every frame except the 4th in a game that was shortened to 8 innings because of the mercy rule.
The Cajuns (18-13) will host Jackson State this weekend, while the Jags (11-17) will split their 3 games between Baton Rouge and New Orleans as they face Loyola.
