NEW ORLEANS - The University of Louisiana-Lafayette Ragin' Cajuns made school history by making their second straight bowl game. Another first: UL went on to beat Eastern Carolina in the R&L Carriers New Orleans Bowl 43-34 to win the bowl game for the second consecutive year.

Former Baton Rouge Capitol High quarerback Terrence Broadway went 21/32 for 316 yards in the air and 108 yards on the ground, scoring 2 touchdowns on the way to game MVP honors.
