U.S. Marshals join hunt for Lafayette fugitive

LAFAYETTE - U.S. Marshals are joining the Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Office in the hunt for a man who walked away from his vehicular homicide trial last week.

Wade Lohse, 43, is charged with vehicular homicide, felon in possession of a firearm and burglary.

His trial was underway March 25th when Lohse fled.

Lohse has a number of convictions across the country dating back 25 years.

U.S. Marshals say he is armed and dangerous.
