U. S. Marshals arrest woman wanted for stabbing
BATON ROUGE - U. S. Marshals arrested a woman accused in Baton Rouge of trying to stab and kill her ex-boyfriend two different times.
Marshals arrested Martina Creshaun Gibson, 29, Friday morning on suspicion of attempted murder charges.
Baton Rouge Police said she stabbed her 23-year-old ex-boyfriend on April 22 during a domestic dispute, causing minor injuries. They said she later returned to his home on April 25 and stabbed him in the chest multiple times, causing life-threatening injuries but not killing him.
Police charged Gibson with attempted second-degree murder, aggravated battery with a knife, aggravated assault with a firearm, and unauthorized entry of an inhabited dwelling.
